Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Greeting Guests

  • Checking Guests into TBHE

  • Assisting Guests with capturing photos/videos

  • Checking out guests in our Retail Therapy shop

  • Sanitizing exhibit installations between guest time slots

  • Opening and Closing tasks

  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Experience Manager

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • No Education or Experience Required

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

  • Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team 

  • Can-do attitude and a positive outlook

  • Must reside in the Los Angeles area

  • Must be able to work in the U.S.

  • Must be at least 18 years old

 


Physical Demands: Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including, but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, climbing, walking, bending, reaching, and lift-up to 50 lbs. Job Overview: As the Assistant Experience Manager of TBHE you will assist the Experience Manager in the daily operations of running the store. This role will also help the Experience Manager lead a team of Experience Ambassadors with a focus on delivering a great customer experience. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

 

  • Provides leadership, support, & guidance to Experience Ambassadors

  • In the Experience Managers absence, lead team and handle supervisory duties 

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

 

  • Help to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for employees and customers. 

  • Follow all necessary policies & procedures outlined by TBHE 

  • Work closely with the Experience Manager to lead staff and run store

  • Partner with Manager on handling and resolving customer complaints, questions, or concerns regarding TBHE 

  • Assist with re-stocking the Retail Therapy Shop. Completing fulfillment orders as needed

  • Properly open and close store location 

  • Serve as liaison between Experience Ambassadors and Managers. 

  • Identify ways to improve workplace efficiency and keep Ambassadors engaged and happy

  • Assist Experience Ambassadors as needed with their primary duties/tasks

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Experience Manager

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • At least 1 year of retail experience, leadership experience is a plus 

  • An eagerness to learn, grow and help lead a team of Experience Ambassadors

  • Self-motivated. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. 

  • Ability to collaborate with others, function as a leader and a team player

  • Be knowledgeable of all things related to TBHE, upcoming events and promotional activities 

  • Great interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Job Overview: As the leader of The Black Hair Experience store, you will lead a team of Experience Ambassadors and an Assistant Experience Manager. This role will lead store initiatives and related efforts to ensure customers are happy, engaged, & enjoying themselves. Delivering a great customer experience is vital to TBHE success and will be an important component of this role. The Experience Manager will oversee promotional activities and events, in addition to some operational and administrative functions. They will partner with TBHE leaders on executing the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Provides leadership, support, & guidance to Assistant Experience Manager & Experience Ambassadors. 

  • Interview, train, manage, & coach all direct reports in coordination with TBHE policies  

  • Organizes and oversees the store work schedule and ensure coverage for shifts are adequate

  • Ensure that all employees respect and uphold the brand and image of TBHE

  • In partnership with the Retail & Operations Area Manager, assess an individual's performance and work ethic based on goals and expectations set forth. 

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for employees and customers. 

  • Follow all necessary store policies & procedures outlined by TBHE

  • Be the subject matter expert about all things related to TBHE. Knowledgeable of upcoming events and activities to encourage customers to return and tell other people about TBHE

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills.

Job Overview: As the Store Manager, you will lead a team of Sales Associates and an Assistant Store Manager. The Store Manager will lead and drive sales through focusing on people, performance, and processes. The goal is to deliver an environment that is engaging and inspiring to the customer while fostering continual team development to create a culture of excellence, creativity, collaboration, and trust. The Store Manager will lead all operational and administrative functions associated with running the store. They will partner with TBHE leaders on executing the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Provides leadership, support, & guidance to the Assistant Store Manager & Sales Associates. 

  • Driver of the talent life cycle for all employees; which includes leading, training, coaching, providing feedback/recognition, and owning the culture/engagement of the team. 

  • Organizes and oversees the store work schedule and ensure coverage for shifts are adequate

  • Ensure that all employees respect and uphold the brand and image of TBHE & BOHE

  • Inspires and motivates team through empowerment, creativity, empathy, and open communication. 

  • In partnership with the Retail & Operations Area Manager, assess an individual's performance and work ethic based on goals and expectations set forth. 

 

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • The Store Manager has the primary responsibility of driving sales, profitability, and operational goals.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for employees and customers. 

  • Fosters a culture of strong communication and teamwork to ensure a seamless balance between customer engagement, operational tasks, and visual priorities; stays current on the latest updates and news to ensure important company information reaches all levels of the team.

  • Handle and resolve any customer complaints, questions, or concerns regarding the store. 

  • Ensure store is fully stocked and organized at all times. Complete fulfillment orders as needed.

  • Protecting store assets and minimizing loss according to store standards and operating procedures, including workplace safety, visual merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.

  • Thing big picture; ability to identify and assess business successes and opportunities for the store to support effectiveness and profitability. 

  • Visual Execution; oversees and collaborates with TBHE leaders on visual priorities, displays, merchandising, and ensuring the look of the store is always on brand.

  • Perform various administrative tasks associated with running the store

  • Properly open and close the store in accordance with TBHE policies and procedures

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Retail & Operations Area Manager
